Individual Therapy for
Adolescents and Adults
When life feels overwhelming, it can be difficult to know where to turn. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum adjustment, or other major life transitions, therapy offers a place to pause, reflect, and begin finding your way forward.
At Invictus Counseling in Topeka, Kansas, I provide individual therapy for adolescents and adults seeking greater understanding, resilience, and emotional well-being.
The name Invictus comes from the poem by William Ernest Henley and reflects the resilience of the human spirit — the belief that even in the midst of hardship, people retain the capacity for strength, healing, and growth.
Therapy is a collaborative process. Together we explore patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may no longer serve you while developing healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges.
My goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly and work toward a life that feels more balanced and meaningful — supporting the spirit captured in the poem’s closing line:
“I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.”
